I am a curious and dedicated experimental physicist endeavouring to unveil the mechanisms by which materials can deteriorate in extreme environments. As a child, I adored dismantling toys to fathom their inner workings. This delightful pursuit persists to this very day!

My Academic Genealogy

Science for the people

My primary dedication is to contribute and support the advancement of humanity through the pursuit of physical sciences. I have been fortunate to build a career in the international field of research and development, having had the opportunity to work in Brazil, the United States of America, the United Kingdom, and Austria. I genuinely enjoy meeting fascinating individuals who share a passion for science and are willing to have stimulating conversations over multiple cups of coffee.

My existence persists, accompanied by three fundamental inquiries that occupy my thoughts, legacy of my PhD supervisor Professor Stephen E. Donnelly:

Did you measure it?

How do you know this?

Are you sure about that?

If these three questions can be answered, we are probably wrong anyways =].
