We are starting life again for the fifth time, and we are greatful for new challenges. This time in one of the most beautiful places in the world … The Land of Enchantment, New Mexico! It is the best place to leave the turbulences of 2020 behind and look ahead, look for the future, to the horizon of new possibilities.
At the very roots of materials science, we will now strive in materials invention. We keep our humility and curiosity. We will now hopefully leave a contribution to this planet and this civilisation. I am super excited by this new opportunity and I will work with extreme dedication and passion towards a future with materials capable of enduring the most harsh conditions imaginable. We are wanderers (Carl Sagan lives). We are dreamers!
